When to use it
The earliest route to permanent Critical Rate, which matters because critical chance is otherwise a weapon passive you have to keep equipped — Shark Cutter's Spiral Critical, and Koo's Critical Charms. A cooked stat does not occupy a slot. Note that Fextralife's ingredient cell reads "Soy Beans" where the ingredient itself is Soya Beans.
