Every dish here names which stats it raises and not one of them says by how much. That is not an omission on this page — no published source anywhere gives figures for these dishes, with a single exception: IGN reads Fried Egg off the screen as +5 HP and +1 Attack. Every dish also has Normal, Superior and Ultimate ranks, and every figure anyone publishes describes the Normal one, so treat even that exception as a floor.

Ingredients

Fourteen ingredients feed the twenty-five dishes. Four of them — Apple, Biwafruit, Lettuce and Water — are used by exactly one recipe each, so growing one of those is a commitment to that dish rather than a hedge.

Growing research

Kagura researches one thing at a time, and it is either a recipe or a crop. Every crop guide reads the same except Poultry, which is the only entry in the whole cooking system that any source attaches a percentage to.

Sources for this page

  • PowerPyx — All Cook Book LocationsTrophy guide, read 2026-08-06, and the second independent count of the set: 25 cook books, numbered in collection order, with the last two given at Kagura Rapport levels 8 and 10 rather than found. It ties the set to the Gourmand achievement and states that only the Normal version of each book is collected, so Superior and Ultimate are not required for it. It fills the five locations Fextralife marks WIP and it publishes no ingredients or effects at all — the two sources are complementary rather than competing, which is why both are cited on every record.
  • IGN — Everything You Need to Know About CookingHands-on, uploaded 2026-08-04 — the only source anywhere that explains the cooking system end to end, and the only one that publishes a number for a dish: Fried Egg at +5 HP and +1 Attack, read off the screen at 05:30. Also the source for the two cooking systems (campfire auto-grilling against Kagura at the Cleanse Walker), the hunger meters gating passive HP regen, the battle pack refill, the grow chamber and incubator, recipe research being one at a time, Kagura rapport paying out in rations, and the Normal/Superior/Ultimate ranks being gated on the Cleanse Walker's calculations stat. Machine captions render Koo as "Coup" and "Ku", Kagura as "Kagra" and "Kaggler", Malefact as "malifact", and onigiri as "oniri" — every proper noun here was normalised against a written source before it shipped.
  • Fextralife wiki — Recipes, ingredients and Kagura researchCompetitor claim, read 2026-08-05. Evidence that Fextralife publishes 25 dishes with their ingredients, flavour text, named effects and cook-book locations, plus 14 ingredients and 11 growing guides. Its effects are named and never numbered — "Increases HP and Attack", no figures anywhere — so it establishes which stats a dish touches and nothing about how much. Two transcription tells: its table spells the dish "Gilled Veg" where its own icon file is named Grilled-veg, and it calls the Ancient Civilization Zone vendor a "Wandering Merchant" where its own Purity weapon page calls the vendor at that spot an Ancient Golem merchant. Five of its cells read "Section is a WIP".
