Does Beast of Reincarnation Have Denuvo or Third-Party DRM?

The Steam listing discloses no third-party DRM, and Valve requires that disclosure — which makes the absence usable evidence rather than a shrug. What that does and does not settle.

Short answer

No third-party DRM is disclosed. The Steam store page carries no DRM notice and the store’s own API returns no `drm_notice` field for the app — and because Valve requires publishers to declare third-party DRM there, that absence is evidence rather than silence.

Where this is being asked · By PC buyers, usually before purchase and usually because of performance: Denuvo has a measurable cost on some titles, and this one launched into a performance argument. It is also asked by people on handhelds and offline machines, where activation limits matter more than frame rates.

Evidence

The answer, broken into claims

A grade describes sourcing, not truth. Inferred means we concluded it and the reasoning is shown; unverified means someone asserted it and nobody stands behind it.

  • OfficialThe Steam listing declares no third-party DRM.

The store page and the store API, both read 5 August 2026. Two views of one mandatory disclosure field, both empty.

  • InferredThe Steam build therefore does not carry Denuvo.

Valve requires third-party DRM to be disclosed on the store page. An empty required field is evidence of absence in a way that mere silence would not be. Graded inferred because it is our reasoning, not the publisher’s statement.

  • InferredThis says nothing about the Microsoft Store, Game Pass, PlayStation or Xbox builds.

Each ships under its own platform protections. The evidence above is a Steam store disclosure and covers Steam.

§01

How you check this without trusting anyone

Valve’s store rules require a third-party DRM notice on the store page — it renders as a "Notice: Requires 3rd-Party DRM" line under the purchase area, and it is a structured field the store API returns as `drm_notice`. Read on 5 August 2026, the page has no such line anywhere in its markup and the API returns no such field for App ID 2001760. Two readings of the same disclosure, both empty. That is a stronger position than any article about it, and it takes a minute to repeat.

§02

What this claim covers, precisely

It covers third-party anti-tamper — Denuvo and its equivalents — on the Steam version. It does not mean the game has no DRM at all: the Steam build is still distributed through Steam, the Microsoft Store and Game Pass versions ship under the Microsoft Store’s own protections, and the PlayStation and Xbox versions are console software. "No Denuvo" is a claim about one specific technology on one specific storefront, and stretching it into "DRM-free" would be wrong.

§03

Why the absence counts as evidence

Normally "no source says so" is worth nothing. It is worth something here because the thing being checked is a mandatory disclosure: if third-party DRM were present and undeclared, the store page would be out of compliance. So the reasoning is not "nobody mentioned Denuvo, so there is none" — it is "the field where it would have to be declared is empty". That is why this answer is graded on an inference with its reasoning attached rather than on a publisher statement, because the publisher has not made one.

§04

What nobody has stated

The publisher has not said anything about DRM in either direction, on the store page, in the launch announcement or in the forums. If your decision depends on being certain — an offline install, a machine you cannot reactivate on — the honest input is that this rests on a store field rather than on a sentence from Fictions.

Expiry condition

What would have to change for this answer to be wrong

An answer about a live-service game without this is an answer with a hidden expiry date.

A DRM notice appears on the Steam listing, which is what a post-launch addition would look like, or the publisher states otherwise. Either would be visible on the store page itself before it was reported anywhere.

Every source, with its date

A complaint posted before 30 July 2026 describes the playtest, not the game you bought, and a source whose publication date nobody captured cannot show that it postdates launch either. Both are flagged rather than quietly mixed in.

  • That the live store page carries no third-party DRM notice — the words "DRM" and "Denuvo" appear nowhere in the served page, and there is no "Requires 3rd-Party Account" notice either.

  • That the store’s structured record for the app returns no `drm_notice` field at all — the machine-readable half of the same disclosure, checkable by anyone in one request.

The Steam listing discloses no third-party DRM, and Valve requires that disclosure — so on the evidence available, no.
