Blade Collector, in the game’s own words: “Obtain every blade. Valve’s live global unlock rate is 0.7% of owners, re-read daily rather than typed here.

§01

The answer

Twenty-one. Two independent records agree on the number, the names and the order, which is more than this site can say about any other collectible set — but a twenty-second sword exists in the game and nobody has established whether the achievement wants it.

How well attested the count is · Corroborated. A creator numbered his blades 1 to 21 while completing the achievement, and this site's weapon database, built separately from per-weapon footage, holds exactly those twenty-one names.

Timestamps deep-link into Gamer Guru — All 21 Sword Locations (Blade Collector Trophy Guide). The order and the numbering are the creator's own typed chapter list, captured 2026-08-07. Chapter titles are a human spelling names over their own footage, which is why these spellings carry weight machine captions would not.

§03

Why the number is trustworthy here and not elsewhere

Every other collectible count on this site rests on one person counting, and we say so. This one does not. Two records built from different material, at different times, by people who were not working from each other, produce the same twenty-one names in the same order and with the same spellings — down to which Mechblade variants are parenthesised. That is what corroboration actually looks like, and it is rare enough in this niche to be worth pointing at.

  • Gamer Guru numbered his blades 1 to 21 in his own chapter markers while completing Blade Collector.
  • This site's weapon database was assembled per-weapon from creator footage and competitor pages, before that chapter list was captured.
  • The two lists match on names, on order, and on spelling. Neither was derived from the other.
§04

The twenty-second sword

Our own database holds one more: Big Dipper, an amber-gain sword with a sixty-second passive where every other sword here runs five. It is real — it appears in Emma's sword list on camera — and the trophy run never visits it. So either it sits outside the achievement set, or it was skipped. Nothing published settles which, and a reader chasing the achievement should know that the target might be twenty-two rather than twenty-one. The sixty-second outlier duration reads better as a deliberate farming tool than as a mistake, which leans toward "outside the set" without proving it.

§05

Where the blades are

Not on this page. Nobody here has played the game, and a location list assembled from someone else's playthrough is their work with our name on it. What the table below carries instead is a deep link into the collector's own video at the second he picks each blade up — which is better than a retyped hint, because you get to watch him do it.

§06

Cross-reference

How this sits in the collectible taxonomy

Valve confirms blades are a completable set. The count of 21 is third-party, and this is the category where a wrong number costs the most, because blades are the build-defining pickup. The tracker on /collectibles/ counts this set as 21, and carries the standing caveat that the counting source’s own categories do not sum to the total it states.

Common questions

Twenty-one, per a completed trophy run and this site's own weapon database, which agree. A twenty-second sword called Big Dipper exists but is never visited in the trophy run, and nobody has established whether it counts.
