Beast of Reincarnation Price, Discounts and Sales

It has never been discounted — the Steam API still reports 0% off. What each route actually costs today, the two sale windows left in 2026, and why Game Pass is the only zero-cost way in.

Read from the Steam appdetails API on 8 August 2026: initial 5999, final 5999, discount_percent 0. The game has been on sale for five days and has never been discounted, so there is no price history to extrapolate from and this page does not pretend otherwise.

Every route in, cheapest first

IncludedXbox Game Pass Ultimate / PC Game Pass

Day one from 4 August 2026, and the first GAME FREAK title ever to launch into the catalogue. No additional cost on an existing subscription.

Microsoft’s own announcement names Ultimate and PC Game Pass only — not the cheaper Console or Core tiers — and what is included is the Standard edition. Deluxe content is a separate purchase.

$9.99Deluxe DLC alone

The upgrade for someone who already owns Standard. Steam App ID 4146830.

Priced a cent below the $10.00 edition premium, so deciding later costs nothing. This is a rounding artefact, not a deal.

$59.99Standard edition

The base game on Steam, PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.

$69.99Digital Deluxe Edition

Base game plus the Deluxe bonus content in one purchase. The same $69.99 appears on all three storefronts.

When a discount becomes possible

Steam Autumn Sale1–8 October 2026

The first plausible occasion, roughly eight weeks after launch. Publishers commonly hold a major new release out of the first sale window after release; nothing has been said either way about this one.

Steam Winter Sale17 December 2026 – 4 January 2027

The larger end-of-year window, and the one a first discount on a summer release more often lands in.

A window is a date on which a discount becomes possible. It is not a discount, and no publisher statement connects this game to either of them.

§01

What it costs right now

Two editions, and the arithmetic between them is worth a sentence because it is not what it looks like. Standard is $59.99. The Digital Deluxe Edition is $69.99 as a single purchase. The Deluxe content on its own — Steam App ID 4146830, for someone who already owns Standard — is $9.99. So buying Standard and upgrading costs a cent less than buying the edition outright, which is a rounding artefact rather than a deal, and the same $69.99 edition price appears on the PlayStation and Xbox listings.

§02

It has never been discounted, and that is a measurement rather than a guess

The Steam appdetails API exposes `initial`, `final` and `discount_percent` for the app, and anyone can re-read it in one request without a key. On 8 August 2026 it returns initial 5999, final 5999, discount 0. Because `initial` and `final` are identical, there is not merely no discount running — there is no active promotion of any kind. That is the whole of the price history for a game that has existed for five days, and it is the reason no page here will tell you what percentage the first sale will be.

  • A five-day-old game has no discount pattern. Anyone publishing an expected percentage is inventing it.
  • The publisher, not Valve, decides whether a title participates in a seasonal sale. Being inside a sale window is not being on sale.
  • The one number that is knowable in advance is the date of the window, and those are below.
§03

The two windows left in 2026

Valve publishes its sale calendar to developers through Steamworks rather than on the consumer store, so these dates are press reporting of a first-party announcement rather than a link you can open. They are the dates on which a discount becomes possible; they are not a discount, and no publisher statement connects this game to either.

Game Pass is the only genuinely zero-cost route, with one limit

This is the first GAME FREAK title to appear on Xbox Game Pass at launch, and it went up day one on 4 August 2026. Microsoft’s own announcement names Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass — not the cheaper Console or Core tiers — and what is included is the Standard edition. The Deluxe content is a separate purchase on top. There is no announced removal date; titles do leave the catalogue, and when one is scheduled to, Microsoft flags it in the app about a month ahead rather than announcing it in advance.

§05

What would change this page

A discount appearing in the Steam appdetails response, which is checked rather than assumed — `discount_percent` moving off zero is the entire test. A publisher announcement of a sale, a price change or a bundle. A Game Pass removal notice. This page carries the date its numbers were read for the same reason every other page here does: a price is a fact about a moment, and one without a date on it is a claim about today made by somebody who was not here today.
