Beast of Reincarnation Patch Notes: v1.1.01
The eighth PC patch, published 9 October 2026. It adds the post-Great Wall route-bypass option, Field of View and skip-prompt settings, fixes several event-skip and subtitle problems, corrects Entanglement / Bloom Art / Koo item-use bugs, restores the Explosive Arrow manual in New Game+, and makes performance and collision adjustments.
Official notes exist for this build. What follows is those notes summarised without adding values, timings or platform scope the source does not give.
v1.1.01 is the eighth shipped PC patch. It adds the route-bypass choice after Great Wall Terraces, adds FOV and skip-prompt options, fixes multiple event-skip side effects, addresses Entanglement Overdrive, Bloom Art, Koo item-use and New Game+ manual bugs, distributes effect-generation load and adjusts collision / submersion boundaries across the world.
What is in it
Summarised in the order of the official Steam announcement, preserving the achievement caveat on the route-bypass option and avoiding unprinted values, event lists, zone lists and console build numbers.
- Added a post-Great Wall Terraces story-progression choice to bypass Pilgrim’s Zone, Matsukawa Colony Zone and Fuji Frontier Zone, or play through them normally; skipped-zone achievements cannot be earned on that New Game route but can still be earned in New Game+ by selecting the Mountain Route.
- Added a Field of View adjustment setting in the Options menu.
- Added an option in Settings to show or hide cutscene and event skip prompts.
- Adjusted line pacing and staging timing across numerous event cutscenes.
- Fixed dialogue subtitles remaining on screen after skipping an event.
- Fixed rapid skipping of certain events causing soft locks or unresponsive game states.
- Fixed unnatural character positioning or camera angles after skipping an event.
- Fixed manually canceling Entanglement Overdrive inadvertently toggling target lock-on.
- Fixed canceling a strongbox unlock while activating Koo’s Bloom Art causing the camera to lock onto Koo.
- Fixed Koo using items on staggered enemies.
- Fixed the “staggered” (“絶”) graphic remaining on screen.
- Fixed “Manual: Explosive Arrow” from a Keeper Golem being unobtainable in New Game+.
- Distributed effect-generation processing load to improve overall game performance.
- Fixed environmental gaps, clipping models and unnatural invisible walls across all regions.
- Adjusted submersion detection depth and collision boundaries across all zones.
These are official patch-note items. They do not publish before/after values, so this page does not invent numbers for camera distance, text size, parry timing or balance.
