Beast of Reincarnation PS5 Patch Notes: 1.007.000

The PS5 build paired with PC v1.0.9 in the publisher’s 24 August changelog. It shares the thirty-five-item record, including a PS5-specific controller-vibration adjustment and several entries explicitly limited to PC.

Official notes exist for this build. What follows is those notes summarised without adding values, timings or platform scope the source does not give.

ShippedOfficial notes24 August 2026 — PS5 build 1.007.000

1.007.000 is the PlayStation number paired with v1.0.9 in the publisher’s third-patch article. It is one changelog, not a separate PS5 patch, and the list itself marks the entries that apply only to PC.

§01

What is in it

From the combined v1.0.9 / v1.007.000 support article, summarised in published order with PC-only labels retained.

These are official patch-note items. They do not publish before/after values, so this page does not invent numbers for camera distance, text size, parry timing or balance.

§02

What is known

The support-centre heading reads “Patch Notes: v1.0.9/v1.007.000” and the body contains the same thirty-five top-level changes as the PC announcement. One line adjusts PS5 controller-vibration intensity. Entries for the Microsoft Store/Xbox PC build and four keyboard/mouse menu issues are explicitly PC-specific and should not be read as PS5 changes.

What is not known

Any unmarked platform differences. The combined changelog does not say that every remaining line behaves identically on every platform, and the separate current-version article had not yet advanced beyond 1.006.000 when checked on 26 August. This page therefore relies on the newer patch-note heading for 1.007.000 and records that conflict instead of hiding it.

The 17 September v1.0.12 notes leave nine future-work categories: the last unskippable cutscenes, a post-Great Wall route-bypass choice, Nushi/Shidou attack-pattern revamps, harder modes, enemy-drop auto-pickup, event pacing, water detection and invisible-boundary work. None has a date or version number.

1.0.12PC (Steam)

The sixth PC patch, published 17 September 2026. It makes almost all event scenes and cutscenes skippable, adds a skip indicator, makes finishing animations skippable, improves PC DLSS / Frame Generation settings, adds ammo-slot remapping and fixes several event, voice and progression bugs.

1.0.11PC (Steam), with specific non-PC option lines named in the Steam post

The fifth patch, published 8 September 2026. It expands skippable cutscenes through the Great Wall Terraces, adjusts cutscene pacing, enables cutscene cosmetics, adds non-PC visual toggles, flower-node skill resets, more Blighted Sprouts, Regeneration safety, ranged-aim buffering and many bug fixes.

1.0.10PC (Steam)

The fourth PC patch, released 31 August 2026. It adds film grain, chromatic aberration and cutscene post-processing toggles, Blight Sprouts that yield SP, Fractured Amber nodes, inventory overflow conversion to Amber, ranged-aiming changes and many progression, boss, Koo, collision and performance fixes.

1.0.9PC (Steam and Microsoft Store/Xbox PC)

The third patch, released 24 August 2026. It adds ultrawide support, DLSS/FSR frame generation, the first batch of skippable cutscenes, charm selling, combat and UI changes, performance work and targeted PC fixes.

1.0.8PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X|S

The second patch, 15 August 2026, and the first one that changes the game rather than its settings. DLSS 4/4.5 and FSR 4 shipped, camera distance presets and subtitle sizes arrived, Bloom Arts hit harder, and the Pilgrim’s Zone main route is now two areas shorter.

1.006.000PlayStation 5

The PlayStation 5 side of the 15 August patch. Same notes as PC v1.0.8, filed under one article, with two PC-only items excluded by the publisher’s own tags. 1.006.000 is the number a PS5 client reports for it.

1.0.7PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X|S — superseded

The first official patch notes, published on Steam on 9 August 2026. They cover camera, text size, story pacing, the cutscene default, input remapping, parry, balance, upscaling, V-Sync and specific bug fixes. Superseded on 15 August by v1.0.8.

1.005.000PlayStation 5 — superseded

The PlayStation 5 side of the 9 August patch. It is not a separate update from PC v1.0.7 — the publisher files both under one set of notes — and 1.005.000 is the number a PS5 client reports for it.

1.0.6PC (Steam) — superseded

The PC launch build named in the developer’s own launch announcement. It has now been superseded by v1.0.7 on Steam.

1.004PlayStation 5 — superseded

A day-one update reported on PlayStation 5 and described as a performance and stability pass. It is single-sourced, no official notes accompany it, and it has now been superseded by the 1.005.000 build.
