Beast of Reincarnation Spirit Stones: The Wiki Number Is Rank 3

Stones come at three ranks and stack to 99, and every stat figure published for them is the rank-3 ceiling — a rank-2 Fortification reads HP 38 where the table says 57. Slots come from your armor, and duplication is how one good effect fills more than one.

Three kinds of claim share this page and the panel badges every one of them. What the menu shows was read off a frame of the game itself; what stones do and where they come from is creators describing their own runs; and the rule that turns a published ceiling into your stone’s number is our arithmetic from a single exact match. No figure below has been averaged between them, and the reader prints its own working.

What the system actually is

Read off the clientA stone is a stackable item at one of three ranks, not a unique piece of equipment.

The Spirit Stone menu at 02:16 of LaserBolt’s early-power guide lists "2 Fortification 3/99", "1 Onslaught 9/99", "2 Momentum 1/99" — a rank prefix and a stack count of up to 99. No wiki in this niche describes them this way.

Read off the clientEvery stone is two things at once: a stat boost and an effect, and both scale with the same rank.

The Effect Details panel prints all three rows together and marks the equipped one — "Lv. 1 Fortitude +1 / Lv. 2 Fortitude +2 / Lv. 3 Fortitude +3 (Active)". The stat is why a stone can be worth a slot even when its effect does not fit the build.

Read off the clientThe stat figure every wiki publishes is the rank-3 ceiling, not the number your stone carries.

Read off the client: a rank-2 Fortification shows HP 38 on its own panel against the 57 Fextralife prints. 57 ÷ 3 × 2 = 38 exactly. That is what the column headed "Max Stat Boost" meant, and nobody spelled it out.

Our inferenceSo the stat scales linearly with rank — and this is our arithmetic, from one stone.

One exact match on one stone is a strong hypothesis and not a law. It is graded inferred for that reason, and the reader below prints the arithmetic rather than hiding it, so a second client reading either confirms the rule or kills it in one screenshot.

Creator, from playStones are equipped on armor, and how many you can run is a property of the armor.

IGN’s pre-play guide at 07:00 states it directly: armor "will also affect how many spirit stones you can equip at a time". The per-armor counts are read off the game’s own Equipment screens and live in src/data/gear.ts.

Creator, from playTreasure chests are where stones come from.

Trophy Guides’ Spirit Stones guide, uploaded 2026-08-04. It is the only source addressing acquisition at all, and it is thirty-four seconds long.

Read off the clientA fourth option in the campfire Enhance menu copies a stone you already own.

Spirit Stone Duplication sits under Sword, Projectile and Ranged Weapon Enhancement. LaserBolt describes it at 07:30 of the upgrade guide: it stays locked for a long stretch, and once open it means a strong effect no longer has to live in only one slot. That is the mechanism behind the x/99 stacks.

Still openWhat unlocks duplication is not established. The lock badge shows a "2" and does not say two of what.

The frame we hold shows the option greyed out behind a badge reading 2. No source states the requirement, and this site does not guess at it. If you have the menu open with duplication unlocked, that screenshot settles it.

Creator, from playRank-3 stones are reachable without New Game Plus — claimed, not shown.

The claim is the title of Drakoo’s 2026-08-06 farming video. That video publishes no caption track, so what we hold is its typed chapter list ("LOCATION", "Killing the mini boss") and the title. Cited as a claim someone made, because the route is not in text anywhere in the capture.

Read your own stone

Set the rank prefix your stone is carrying — the digit before its name in the Spirit Stone menu — and every published ceiling below is divided down to it. The ceilings are Fextralife’s table as /gear/ transcribes it; the division is ours, and it is proven on exactly one stone. Where it does not land on a whole number the card says so instead of rounding.

10 of 33 do not divide cleanly at this rank. Those cards print the arithmetic and stop — the client’s rounding has not been read off it.

How many of these you can run at once is a property of your armor rather than your level: the 14 armors read off the client range from 4 slots to 6, and the 6-slot end includes Floral Wraps, Dance Attire, Amber Breastplate, God Tree Guard — which is why the first armor upgrade you find can cost you a stone. The full trade-off is plotted on /gear/.

§01

The number you are reading is a ceiling, not a value

Every wiki covering this game publishes a column of stat figures for Spirit Stones, and every one of them prints those figures as if they were the stone’s. They are not. A frame of the game’s own Spirit Stone menu shows stones carrying a rank prefix and a stack count — "2 Fortification 3/99", "1 Onslaught 9/99" — and that rank-2 Fortification reads HP 38 on its own panel against the 57 the table publishes. 57 ÷ 3 × 2 = 38, exactly. So the published column is the rank-3 ceiling, which is what the header "Max Stat Boost" meant and what nobody spelled out. The Effect Details panel says the same thing from the other side: it prints Lv. 1, Lv. 2 and Lv. 3 together and marks the one you have equipped as Active. The reader above divides any of the thirty-three ceilings down to the rank you actually hold — and where the division does not land on a whole number it says so and stops, because how the client rounds is a thing nobody has read off it. One exact match on one stone is a strong hypothesis, not a law, and the arithmetic is printed so that a second screenshot either confirms it or kills it.

§02

A stone is two things, and the second is why a bad fit can still be worth a slot

Every stone carries a stat boost and an effect, and both scale with the same rank. That matters for a decision players get wrong in both directions. A stone whose effect does not suit your build still carries its stat, so a rank-3 stone with a useless trigger can beat a rank-1 stone with a perfect one — and the tier counts do not help you compare, because some effects step three times (1/2/3, or 15%/20%/25%) and others step five (10% through 50%). Ranks run 1 to 3 on every stone read so far, so a five-step effect list does not map onto rank the way a three-step one does, and no source states what it does map onto. That is an open question rather than a detail, and it is the reason this page does not publish a tier list.

§03

How many you can run is an armor stat, not a level

The slots are on the armor. IGN’s pre-play guide states it directly, and the counts are read off the game’s own Equipment screens for twelve of the fourteen armors. The consequence is the part worth knowing before your first upgrade: Emma’s starting Gambeson has five slots at Defense 17, and the first armor most players find trades a slot for eight points of defense and takes enemy awareness from Low to Extreme. Defense is the number the screen makes obvious and slots are the number it does not, so "better armor" can quietly cost you a stone and your stealth openings at the same time. The full three-axis trade-off is plotted on /gear/; what belongs here is only that the axis exists.

§04

Where stones come from, and the supply valve nobody has unlocked on camera

Acquisition is the thinnest part of the evidence and is stated as such. One source addresses it at all — a thirty-four-second guide that says to look in treasure chests. One creator claims in a video title that rank-3 stones are reachable without New Game Plus, and that video publishes no captions, so what we hold is the claim and its typed chapter list rather than a route; this site does not print one it cannot check. The mechanic that actually explains the stack counts is Spirit Stone Duplication, a fourth option in the campfire Enhance menu beneath Sword, Projectile and Ranged Weapon Enhancement. It copies a stone you already own, which is what stops a strong effect from being confined to a single slot. In the frame we hold it is greyed out behind a lock badge showing a "2", and the badge does not say two of what. Nobody has published the requirement. If you have that menu open with duplication unlocked, that one screenshot settles it — see /contact/.

Beast of Reincarnation Spirit Stones: The Wiki Number Is Rank 3 FAQ

Because the published figure is the rank-3 ceiling and your stone is rank 1 or 2. The digit before the stone’s name in the menu is its rank, and the stat scales with it — a rank-2 Fortification reads HP 38 against a published 57, which is 57 ÷ 3 × 2.

The video publishes no caption track, so what we hold is its creator-typed chapter list — "farming stones", "READ THIS!", "LOCATION", "Killing the mini boss" — plus the title, which asserts that rank-3 stones are reachable without New Game Plus. That assertion is worth recording because it is the only statement anyone has made about rank acquisition. The route behind it is not in text anywhere in the capture and is not published here.
