This page is the order of the game, not a walkthrough of it. Nobody here has played it, so there is no step-by-step below and no chapter is described from the inside — what is published is the sequence, who published it, and how far the two sources agree.

§01

What this page is, and what it is worth

Two sources have published the shape of this campaign and they were produced in completely different ways. VGC typed out thirteen chapter titles and thirteen region names. BeardBear, uploading a nineteen-hour 100% capture, wrote his own chapter markers as "Chapter 1 (Ogouchi Buffer Zone)", "Chapter 2 (Ancient Civilization Zone)" and so on across twelve of them, bracketed by a Prologue and an Epilogue. Neither could have copied the other: one is a list of chapter *titles* with no regions attached, the other is a list of *regions* with no titles attached. Where they overlap — the region sequence — they match exactly, and that overlap is the strongest structural claim this site can currently make about the game.

  • The region sequence is corroborated: two independent sources, same twelve regions, same order.
  • The chapter titles are single-source past chapter four. VGC has all thirteen; allthings.how independently gives the first four in the same order, and nothing corroborates five through thirteen.
  • The chapter-to-region pairing comes from BeardBear alone, because he is the only person who has published one.
  • No boss level appears on this page. See the last section for why.
§02

The regions, in order

The left column is BeardBear's chapter marker, typed over footage of the game running. The right two are VGC's region list, which groups the same places under four larger region names. The rows line up one for one, in order, without either source having been adjusted to fit the other.

The chapter titles

VGC publishes these thirteen plus an epilogue. They are botanical the whole way down, which is consistent with a game whose currency is amber, whose skills are Blade Arts and Bloom Arts, and whose dog wears a mane of flowers — but consistency is not corroboration, and only the first four have a second source.

§04

The one place the two sources do not agree

VGC counts thirteen numbered chapters and an epilogue. BeardBear counts a prologue, twelve numbered chapters and an epilogue. Both therefore describe fourteen segments, and the disagreement is only about where the numbering starts and stops — but it is a real disagreement and it is not resolved here.

  • On our reading the two line up if BeardBear's Epilogue marker covers what VGC calls chapter 13, "To Bloom, Then Fall", in the region VGC calls Center of the Blight — his marker is titled "Epilogue (Final Boss & Ending)", and a final boss is chapter content rather than an epilogue.
  • That is our reading and not either source's claim. Neither publishes a mapping, so treat the numbering in the first table as BeardBear's own and the numbering in the second as VGC's own.
  • What would settle it: one screenshot of the in-game chapter select, or one save file showing a chapter number next to a title. Neither exists in anything we hold.
§05

What this fixes on the boss page

The boss page says, in its own words, that two creators have published complete boss lists which do not agree — twenty-one chaptered entries against twenty-two, in a different sequence — and that neither carries a reference for where a given fight sits in the game. This page is that missing reference. A boss can now be placed by the region it is fought in, which is a claim both sources support, instead of by a position in one creator's edit.

  • ExoGhost's twenty-one markers name Rangifer first and "Mikoto the Beast of Reincarnation" last, with Crimson Malefact marked "(Transformed Koo)" late in the run — consistent with the region order above.
  • The boss names themselves are no better attested than they were: every one still reaches us as text a creator typed. Nothing on this page promotes a spelling.
  • Repeat encounters are real. ExoGhost marks Rangifer three times and Nue Malefact five, at different levels — so "which boss is next" is not the same question as "which boss have I not seen".
§06

What is deliberately missing

Two things a reader might reasonably expect here are not here, and both are absent for the same reason: the only available version of them cannot be checked.

  • Boss levels. allthings.how publishes a level for every boss in every chapter — Rangifer at 9, Lacerta at 13, Taurus at 26 and so on. It cites nothing for any of them, and no other source we hold publishes a single boss level. Repeating an uncited number because it is specific is how a guide site becomes unreliable in one step.
  • Per-chapter directions. There is no route, no objective list and no "go left at the shrine" anywhere on this page, because nobody here has played the chapter. The completionist captures linked below are the honest answer to that question and they are linked rather than summarised.
  • Playtime per chapter. VGC gives whole-game figures of 20 hours fast, 25–28 average and 30–35 completionist; Fextralife gives 30–40 per playthrough and attributes it to the developer and publisher. Those disagree, and that disagreement already has its own page — see the length question rather than a number invented here.

Beast of Reincarnation Chapters and Regions in Order FAQ

Thirteen plus an epilogue, on VGC's count. A completionist's own chapter markers instead count a prologue, twelve chapters and an epilogue. Both describe fourteen segments; they differ on where the numbering starts. Nobody has published a screenshot of an in-game chapter select to settle it.

Sources for this page

  • VGC — How long to beat Beast of Reincarnation, full chapter and region listPress guide, read 2026-08-05 — the only published enumeration of the thirteen chapter *titles* plus the epilogue, and of the thirteen regions under their four larger region names. It does not say where the list came from, and it pairs no chapter to a region, so it is cited for the two lists and not for any mapping between them.
  • BeardBear — Beast of Reincarnation 100% Walkthrough (full game, no commentary)Creator chapter markers on a 19h 12m 100% capture, read 2026-08-05, video id LNjwinb1eMk — "Prologue", then twelve markers each titled "Chapter N (Region Name)", then "Epilogue (Final Boss & Ending)". Human-typed metadata over footage of the game running, which is the same evidence class the boss page already leans on, and here it is the only source that pairs a chapter number to a region at all.
  • allthings.how — Beast of Reincarnation walkthrough: every chapter and boss in orderPress guide, read 2026-08-05 — cited only as the second source for the first four chapter titles, which it gives in the same order as VGC. It also publishes a boss and a level for each chapter and cites nothing for either; those numbers are deliberately not repeated here.
  • ExoGhost — Beast of Reincarnation boss listCreator-published boss order, upload date not captured — 21 chaptered entries. Cited as one of two incompatible published orders, not as the order.
