Read 12 August 2026. 3 of these 9 names rest on a single published roster and the cards say so per record. Nothing here states an age, a height or an affiliation: nobody has published those for this game, and a cast list is where an invented field looks most at home.

9 named characters — 6 you can read now, 3 that are reveals

Everyone the two published rosters name between them, ordered by when you meet them. The 3 marked as reveals stay shut until you open them — either one at a time, or all at once with the switch. Nothing here is hidden from you as a tease: the gate is the whole point of the page, because the roster that ranks for this query prints the ending in plain text.

  • Emmaエマ

The protagonist, and the only character you directly control.

Where From the first minute. The publisher frames the whole game as “one-person, one-dog”, and she is the person.

  • Kooクー

The blighted dog. Fights on command rather than on his own initiative.

Where The first act. The publisher’s own page calls him “the blighted dog” and builds the combat pitch around commanding him “just like in a turn-based RPG”.

Where Before Koo. Fextralife’s pre-launch entry has her living with Emma from the start and says her role in the story “remains unconfirmed”.

  • Brad

Operator of the Cleanse Walker, the walking vessel that carries Emma and Koo west.

Where Early, and then constantly — the Walker is the hub, so he is the closest thing this game has to a hub character.

  • Kagura

The cook aboard the Cleanse Walker. Her meals are the only permanent stat gain in the game outside the skill trees.

Where Early in the main story, at the Walker. Rest until morning and she cooks; rapport levels pay out in rations and in the last two cook books.

One reveal this site already prints in the clear

Crimson Malefact, at 2:21:35. The clear order on /bosses/ names this fight “Crimson Malefact — the transformed Koo”, and has done since that page shipped. It is repeated here rather than gated because hiding a fact this site already publishes two clicks away is a courtesy to nobody.

Chips say who names a character, not how confident we are. 3 rest on a single published roster, and 4 are corroborated by this repo’s own transcription of the clear order, made for /bosses/ from a no-commentary run.

The same cast, the other question

Voice cast — one character was cast in public, and the English list every site prints is unsourcedThe clear order — where four of these names appear as fights
§01

Two rosters exist and neither is safe to read

This is worth knowing before you open any character page for this game, including the ones above us. Fextralife's roster was last edited 28 July 2026 — six days before the game released — and it says so in its own footer. Its header goes further and tells you the names may be wrong: where only a Japanese name is confirmed, "the English spelling on this page is the expected form rather than an official one, and it will be corrected against the released game". It lists six characters, and its Kagura entry places her in a colony rather than aboard the Cleanse Walker, which is where the shipped game puts her. Game8's roster is post-launch and complete — it is the only published list carrying Shidou, the Administrator and Mikoto — and it prints the two largest reveals in this game in ordinary body text with nothing above them. So one list is stale and admits it, and the other is accurate and will spoil you. That gap is the only reason this page exists.

  • A stale wiki is not a dishonest one. Fextralife declares its own state at the top of the page; the problem is that Google does not read the disclaimer.
  • Both claims are on the live page rather than reproduced here — the edit date is in its footer and the spelling caveat is its second paragraph. `docs/media-ledger.md` forbids capturing a competitor to illustrate that it is wrong, and a link does this job, so follow it and check.
  • We are not checking Game8 against Fextralife. On everything after launch, only one of them had the finished game.
§02

The cast

9 names, ordered by when you meet them rather than by importance — importance on a cast list is a judgement nobody sourced. The 3 reveals open one at a time or all at once, and every card says which sources name that person, because 3 of these rest on a single published roster and 4 are corroborated by a capture made for a different page entirely.

§03

Where the names come from, and why four of them are stronger than the others

Emma and Koo are the publisher's own words on its own game page — "one-person, one-dog", and "Koo, the blighted dog". Violet, Brad, Kagura and Kunai are named by both wikis, which is two sources but not two *independent* ones on anything after launch, since one of them stopped editing before launch. Shidou, the Administrator, Kunai and Mikoto are different: Game8 names them, and all four appear independently in the fight order this repo transcribed from ExoGhost's no-commentary run for `/bosses/` — a list made months of editing away from any wiki, for a different purpose. Where a wiki and our own capture arrive at the same person from opposite directions, that is real corroboration. Where only one names something, the card says so.

  • Kagura is the clearest case of the pre-launch entry being outdated: `/cooking/` has had her aboard the Cleanse Walker, with rapport levels paying out in cook books, since 2026-08-06.
  • Violet is the clearest case of the reveal gap: Fextralife calls her role "unconfirmed"; Game8 states what she turns out to be.
  • No English voice actor is paired to any character here. Fextralife pairs several, and the publisher never did — that argument, and the one name worth knowing, is on the voice cast page.

Beast of Reincarnation Characters: All 9, and Which 3 Are Spoilers FAQ

9 are named across the two published rosters. Fextralife lists six and was last edited 28 July 2026; Game8 carries the other 3. This page lists all 9 and keeps the 3 story reveals behind a control.
