Bolts

The plain bolt: 6 damage and a stack limit of 28 on Fextralife, 5 and 24 on Game8. Both describe it as suited to quick succession and strong against weak spots.

When to use it

The damage numbers here are the reason to read the ranged weapons as two different tools rather than two tiers of one. A bolt does a small fraction of an arrow's damage and you carry roughly twice as many — this is chip and stagger pressure, not burst.

Where it sits in the weapon catalogue

  • Its published attack figure is "Ranged 6 (Fextralife) / 5 (Game8)". No other catalogued Bolts entry prints that figure, which in a catalogue where seven swords share one number is itself worth knowing.
  • It deals Ranged, which one other catalogued weapons also do: Arrows. What each damage type actually does is the page that argues the swap.
