Pounce
A Koo node LaserBolt unlocks and then upgrades repeatedly on camera. He says the repeated upgrades raise its assassination chance and reads the figure aloud as somewhere between 50 and 60 per cent. That is one creator narrating his own screen through machine captions, so it is quoted here with its source rather than restated as a stat, and what "assassination" triggers on is not described.

Where this comes from
LaserBolt — Emma and Koo Skill Tree Guide — opens at 06:10, where the skill is explained.
When to use it
The only Koo node anyone has published a number for, which makes it worth opening your own tree to check rather than worth trusting. LaserBolt's route is Guard and Pounce first, with Pounce upgraded as far as it goes; IGN's route spends the same points on Taunt and Bloom Art mods instead. Neither creator has tested the other's. A client frame at 06:10 shows Pounce as a branch root on Koo's tree beside Guard, with Lay Landmine hanging off it — that frame's tooltip reads "Required Skill: Pounce Lv. 1", which is the first published confirmation that anything gates behind Pounce at all. It also places Taunt and Snatch as ordinary nodes further down the same branch at 22 and 25 points, so the route disagreement above is a disagreement about depth on one branch rather than about which branch to take.
Where it sits in the skill tree
- It sits on Koo's side of the tree, alongside the seven other Koo nodes catalogued here: Higanbana: Bloom, Seeds and Roots, Incantation, Guard, Taunt, Snatch, Full Bloom and Deft Paws.
- Its weapon requirement is recorded as "None published for Koo", the same string six other catalogued nodes carry.
