Hair
The middle of Emma’s three branch roots, captured at Lv. 1 of 5. Sprout Shakuyaku hangs directly beneath it at a cost of 12, Helm Splitter beneath that at 8, and Cloaking Grass below that at 8. Xbox Wire’s starter guide describes what the hair itself does in play: hold A to glide on it, hold RT to extend it into a temporary platform, and use the height to come down on enemies from above.

Where this comes from
LaserBolt — Emma and Koo Skill Tree Guide — opens at 02:40, where the skill is explained.
When to use it
The branch the launch-week argument was actually about, once the labels were right. IGN placed Helm Splitter on a melee branch; the client puts it here, and RPG Division and BltzZ — the only two creators who published a complete loadout — had both said so. RPG Division’s entire hard-mode build is this branch and nothing else: Sprout Shakuyaku for the platform, Helm Splitter for the landing. Its attribute requirement is the one gap. No frame we hold shows this root’s requirement panel, and Vitality is what remains after Strength and Florescence are accounted for, so the Vitality pairing everyone publishes is an inference here rather than something read. Fextralife states Vitality independently, which is corroboration from a source with no provenance, not confirmation.
Where it sits in the skill tree
- It sits on Emma's side of the tree, alongside the six other Emma nodes catalogued here: Helm Splitter, Shakuyaku, Iaido, Roll, Tracking Shot and Entanglement Overdrive.
- Its weapon requirement is recorded as "None; the hair is the tool", which no other catalogued node carries.
