Roll
A dodge-roll node on Emma's tree. IGN's framing around it is that this is not a dodge game — parrying is the mechanic that pays, because it restores the resource Koo spends and fills the enemy's stagger meter — and that Roll earns its points by creating space rather than by avoiding hits.

Where this comes from
LaserBolt — Emma and Koo Skill Tree Guide — opens at 04:30, where the skill is explained.
When to use it
The published case is narrow and worth taking at that width: elites that attack many times in succession, and the specific unblockable attacks a parry does not answer. Two things are now read off the client rather than published: Roll sits on the Tracking Shot branch, Emma's ranged one, which is a strange home for a movement node and means reaching it costs Florescence rather than the durability attribute you might assume; and its cost badge reads 30, against 8 for Helm Splitter and 7 for the Lucky Shot node beside it. That is an expensive dodge on a branch nobody's published route opens early. Its invulnerability window and what enhancing it does are still unpublished and are not guessed at here.
Where it sits in the skill tree
- It sits on Emma's side of the tree, alongside the six other Emma nodes catalogued here: Helm Splitter, Shakuyaku, Iaido, Tracking Shot, Hair and Entanglement Overdrive.
- Its weapon requirement is recorded as "None; a movement node", which no other catalogued node carries.
